História Becoming The Hunter - The Awakening

I was left as a child,my father leaving my mother and I and my mother dying of a sickness. At the age of 3 I was left at an orphanage. The name I was born with was Cole and its stayed that way ever since. At the age of 5 I was taken from the orphanage by a group called the Order of the Hunters. Since then I was trained to track down and kill the monsters of hell. Monsters weren't the only things that I came into contact with. People who desired nothing but blood were also the objectives. Sure it was different killing a human than a monster but in the end they were the same. At first it bothered me watching the life fade from their bodies,but eventually I became numb to it and all it brought. I began to grow cold and uncaring of the target. I suppose that's how all hunters were and that's what they became. There was a blood lust they had, one that could only be quenched from monsters and men. Hypocritical yes but I always was told it was for humanity saving us from them. So I followed my orders and killed whatever I was told. Now old and wanting to pass on my legacy to my son Cain, I'm writing this book so he can guide himself and see where I went wrong. An instruction manuel  you could say. I'll start from the beginning at the age of 18,the christening of all hunters when you became a man and no longer needed a Watcher. Watchers were veteran hunters who showed the younger hunters how to complete the job and not get themselves killed. Now begins the hunt.
