História The Fox - One. The first tail...

Mother fox leaned in, licking the warm red fur of her baby fox. Behind her, her nine tails sheltered them from the bitter cold of the night.
Suddenly, shouts from behind them sounded.
Humans.
She grabbed the baby fox and ran. Her light footsteps set embers dancing in the grass. The baby fox shuddered as a fire emerged from its back. For a few seconds it lingered in the cold air. But then it took a form of a orange tail.
The mother stopped to put the fox down a smile firming on her lips.
But then a gunshot sounded, and blood poured down her chest. A bullet hit her just above her heart. Her vision faded as she collapsed onto the ground.
Then humans emerged from the trees. Pointing and shouting at the baby fox.
For a few moments, the baby fox stared at its mother. But fire picked up around it as it's eyes flickered dangerously. It opened up its mouth and a massive splurge of flames rung towards the humans. They screeched and ran away. But one stayed.
This one swung a huge icy net though the air. It landed with a thud on top of the baby fox.
It struggled but all it could do was whimper as it was dragged away from its dead mother.
